Platform Door System

The platform door system is intended to prevent any passenger from falling from the platform or the possible contact of a passenger with the moving train, thereby ensuring the safety of every passenger. This is provided by means of a barrier door system installed between the railroad tracks and the platform. The opening and closing of the platform doors is automatically controlled to synchronize with the opening and closing of the train doors. Platform door systems have become increasingly important since they help to increase the efficiency of train services while ensuring the safety of the passengers.
